Fanestic - Snu
My second NES style chiptune, this one uses the VRC6 addon chip, which adds more voices. A very happy, upbeat and complex song.
Calling - Snu
The second song I have written using the hardware at school. It has some complex beats and harmonies, a good flow to it, and a very epic feel.
Chaos Wind - Snu
By far my most chromatic piece yet. A harsh piano solo inspired by a rather difficult situation in my life. It's not meant to be pretty, but to convey an emotion.
Nestalgic - Snu
A chiptune for those of you who miss the days of NES music. 100% true to the NES, and recorded from emulated hardware.

Flying - Snu
A very warm sounding song with tons of square and saw waves. This was an attempt to write a song with a video game sound, but I also happen to like square waves.
Faith - Snu
The first song I have written on the rather expensive midi hardware at school. A mellow and relaxing song, with an interesting rhythm and mood change in the middle.

Reaching Out - Snu
This is basically an attempt at manual synthesis - I started with 8 samples of basic synth sounds, and mixed them together. The song itself is a medium speed techno song with a lot of emotion to it.

Unseen Promise - Snu
Probably my best drums and lead yet. This song is pretty jazzy sounding (not too much tho), due to the unique rhythms in the melody, and the harmonic complexity.
Job's Rain - Snu
A piano and flute duet, with good rhythm, and some very nice chord progressions. The title refers to a much needed rain after a drought.

Question - Snu
A short piano and orchestra piece, but there's a lot here! Relaxing piano melodies, bombastic orchestral sections, and some nice 7-8 rhythms in the B section.
Caravan - Snu
A slightly jazzy and funky tune, with a good deal of variety and unique harmony. Don't ask where the name came from, it really has nothing to do with the song...

Infinite Drift - Snu
A very good beat, and some pretty wild chord progressions, with plenty of synth, strings, and a nice piano.
Snow In The Moonlight - Snu
A very relaxing song - slow and very melodic. Flute in the melody accompanied by sweeping strings, french horn, bassoon, and a synth pad.

Searching For You - Snu
Soft rock-ish song, with synth sounding guitars, and very improvisational drums. A friend of mine said it sounds celtic...
Twilight Express - Snu
All piano, with reletively mild drums, but this has some very thick chords in it, not a soft piano piece here.
Sleepless - Snu
A piano solo with drums, lots of arpeggiated chords, and good rhythm. The name is mostly from the fact that I tend to stay up late composing...

Walking In Eden - Snu
A relaxing piano waltz, inspired by the music of Chopin, and written in the romantic period style.

Dreaming - Snu
A light and happy piece, a melody in octaves gives a charming feel, while accompanied by a very complex and unique harmony. This song has around 20 different chords.

Waiting For A Storm - Snu
A nice fast driving song with a rock beat, some electric guitars, synth pads, and a prominent synth piano part.

Mystery - Snu
A deep, majestic, and one might even say haunting song with an amazing amount of ambience (and reverb). Relaxing and intense at the same time.
Keywords: New Age
Redemption - Snu
A happy hardcore piece, with the usual heavy beat and high pitched instruments; but very harmonically complex and without the excessive repetition in most techno songs.
Keywords: Happy Hardcore
Rant - Snu
This song is somewhat of a sequel to Chaos Wind; as it is a similarly harsh chromatic piano solo meant to convey emotion, and relates to the same situation.
Sonata No. 1 in D Minor - Snu
My biggest project yet, a full four movement 14 minute piano sonata! The form is classic, but the harmonies and modulations are romantic. I had quite a lot of fun with key changes. Movement 1: Presto, 0:00 - 4:40 (Sonata Form) Movement 2: Scherzo, 4:45 - 7:24 (Minuet Form) Movement 3: Adagio, 7:28 - 10:47 (ABA Form) Movement 4: Allegro, 10:50 - 14:19 (Sonata-Rondo Form)
Sonatina In E Major - Snu
A three movement classical style piano sonatina, reminiscent of Clementi and Haydn, in other words it is quite happy and upbeat.
The Wanderer - Snu
A smooth song with classic module file influences. The melodies really stand out in synth leads, and the harmonic background is nice and unique.
Breakthrough - Snu
The light breaks through! A very happy sounding song. Short, but I considered brevity preferable to having the chorus repeated 5 times like other contemporary songs.
Keywords: Soft Rock
Subspace Distortion - Snu
Very strange song, synth techno, with some totally crazy drums... Pretty slow, but with a driving beat.
Sanctuary - Snu
A piano solo, would probably be classified as easy listening, but I think of it more as romantic period style, it has some interesting chromatic notes in it.
